As Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society I am pleased to invite you to the 2025 ANZGS Congress which will be held in Perth from 14 – 16 February 2025. Following the triumph of the well-attended 2024 Congress held in picturesque Hobart, we eagerly anticipate recreating that same enriching experience.

The congress will include the highly popular and somewhat unpredictable interactive panel and case presentations, the ACB Molteno Off-Piste Lecture, and numerous keynote presentations from the glaucoma field, along with ample opportunities for submitted papers. Our keynotes speakers have now been confirmed. We’re thrilled to welcome Professor Norbert Pfeiffer, Professor Steven Tingay and I will be delivering the 2025 Gillies Lecture. Thank you to the convenors and committee for their invitation.

The 2025 Congress will take place on 14th and 15th February, with an opportunity on 16th February to explore what Perth has to offer. We recommend a trip to Rottnest Island and will provide details on how Congress attendees can join together for an informal day of networking.

We are very grateful to our convenors, A/Prof Jonathon Ng and Dr Geoffrey Chan for developing the Congress.

We extend our appreciation to Concept Event Management, the organisers of our last three Congresses, for their adept management and assistance in delivering what we anticipate will be another outstanding and engaging meeting.

Abtract submission and registrations are now open. Virtual registration will be available and we will again offer this at the same cost, because we hope to see you in person.

We look forward to welcoming you to our 33rd ANZGS Congress. Please put the dates of 14 – 16 February 2025 in your calendar now!

Prof Keith Martin

Chair, ANZGS
