A short summary:

This course is aimed at eye care professionals who want to gain an understanding of the research methods that underpin modern evidence-based public health approaches to eye care. This course will introduce all the major study designs used to create evidence, helping in your research methodology development and allowing you to critically review research publications. Whether you are wanting to generate research, or just apply the evidence base to your own practice building robust eye-health pathways – this course would help you to that end.
This course is typically taken by eye care professionals (ophthalmologists, optometrists or ophthalmic nurses) or researchers working in related fields who are aspiring to increase their research quality or understanding. The course is also taken by those planning for a career in eye health provision who want to establish an understanding of evidence-based practice (junior doctors, optometrists or intercalating medical students).
