RCOphth (The Royal College of Ophthalmologists) Intro to Phacoemulsification course (July)

This 2-day course is designed to serve as an introduction to phacoemulsification cataract surgery. You will need to have completed  EyeSi courseware A and B training prior to attending this course. The focus will be on hands-on practical experience with only short introductions to each topic followed by practice on a variety of model eyes. We guarantee that each trainee will have the opportunity to complete 10 phacoemulsification procedures over the 2 days. The course is open to doctors who are starting their ST1 or a LAT (ST1) post, speciality doctors and any other staff grade doctors. Please note you will need to complete your EyeSi Courseware A&B training prior to attending the course.
