This online course is aimed at ophthalmic surgeons who are considering introducing a
trabecular bypass service to their Trust or are interested in learning more about the technique
and technology that has become so widely adopted in the surgical treatment of primary open
angle glaucoma.
The course will cover the trabecular micro-bypass procedure, a safe and efficacious surgery
and its place in the glaucoma treatment algorithm, and the steps for starting and learning the
technique. There will be emphasis on practical surgical tips and presentation of the robust
clinical evidence supporting the safety, efficacy, and longevity of iStent inject
® considering
both the most recent published data and also the real-world results from a UK NHS Trust.
