The course aims to equip participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to acquire and interpret Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) images effectively and confidently. Content will be tailored to current and new users of OCT – but all levels of experience are welcomed.

The course will be led by a team of ZEISS Application Specialists who are highly knowledgeable and skilled in OCT imaging, drawing on experience from their clinical backgrounds. With a mixture of interactive lectures, hands-on workshops and case study discussions, the engaging programme aims to help attendees achieve a comprehensive set of learning objectives:

• Differentiate between normal and abnormal OCT scans
• Understand the principles and application of OCT, using the ZEISS CIRRUS
• Identify common ocular pathologies, utilising posterior and anterior OCT imaging
• Demonstrate best-practice techniques to ensure optimal scan acquisition
• Confidently interpret OCT & OCT-A scans.
