Meibomian gland dredging is important in the treatment of dry eye and has a great influence on treatment outcomes.
Many types of dye eye treatment combined with meibomian gland dredging plate therapy provide improved patient outcomes. Traditional methods use metal, glass rods and other tools not designed for dredging the glands and are not convenient to use on patients. Patients can feel discomfort & pain and the clinical effect is not good.
Gaush Precision pioneered a new disposable compact medical meibomian gland dredging plate. Featuring a simple soft press rod design enabling the operator to easily control the amount of force to achieve the ultimate dredging effect, coupled with a soft medical grade rubber head for greater comfort.
The product is single use minimising the risk of cross infection and is supplied in boxes of five pieces.
