Haag-Streit UK recently launched ‘Skills Hub’, an exciting new branch of Haag-Streit Academy. At just £50 (ex VAT) for a three-hour session, the Skills Hub gives both beginner and advanced ophthalmic professionals the chance to have shared access to the latest Haag-Streit gold-standard devices to practice skills and techniques in a no pressure environment, an activity that many individuals seldom have time for in their own busy clinics.
During the Skills Hub sessions, Haag-Streit product experts will be on hand to give guidance and answer questions. Group sizes are kept to a maximum of six people to ensure all attendees have ample time with the equipment. The Skills Hub was launched in response to the feedback received from the Academy’s CPD approved courses, where attendees take part in hands-on workshops as a part of their learning experience.
Focussing on slit lamps, the first two Skills Hub sessions will be held on 11th October at 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm at Haag-Streit HQ in Bishop’s Stortford. At these sessions, attendees will have shared access to a range of Haag-Streit slit lamp equipment including the Eyesi Slit Lamp simulator and IM 910 3D imaging camera. Hot and cold drinks will be provided, and there is free parking onsite. Haag-Streit HQ is close to Bishop’s Stortford train station, which offers direct train links to London.
