Hanson Medical, a leading supplier of medical technology, has secured an exclusive agreement to become the sole distributor of Norlase's next-generation ophthalmic laser solutions.
Hanson Medical will be offering all three of Norlase’s lasers to UK and Republic of Ireland ophthalmologists. In particular the ECHO® is the first portable pattern scanning laser photocoagulator, which can be attached to most common slit lamps, making laser treatment much more accessible. It is an ultra compact fibreless diode laser with high-clarity safety filters. The Norlase LION® is the first indirect ophthalmoscope with an integrated laser, which is head mounted and powered by a battery in the foot switch, allowing a portable lightweight laser treatment solution.
