Eagerly anticipated and now underway – a landmark UK medical research study on MicroPulse® Transscleral Laser Therapy (MPTLT) for the treatment of glaucoma using Iridex’ Cyclo G6® Laser and the MicroPulse P3® Delivery Device.

A NICE-compliant registry of MPTLT treatments has been developed by Professor Philip Bloom and Dr Eduardo Normando, working at the Western Eye Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) in collaboration with Iridex Corporation (Mountain View, California). This study has now been approved for rolling out nationally to other eye units in the UK.
