March 2025 will see the second instalment of 100% Ophthalmology which, if you were following us last year, was a great success. Co-located alongside the well-known 100% Optical and hosted within the ExCeL London venue, the second edition of this ophthalmic counterpart promises to be just as good as the first and will see an assortment of well-respected practitioners take to the stage and deliver their presentations.
100% Optical first ran this segment of their show in February of 2024 and it was impressive to see how well-rounded the overall experience was of navigating a conference that blended optometry, opticians, ophthalmologists and fashion all under one roof. This year, 100% Ophthalmology has further defined its identity and has its own website, social channels and registration process.
Speaking of 2025’s event, Dr Ian Beasley, Head of Education at AOP commented, “The AOP is proud to be the event’s official UK partner since its inception. [This] year will see the delivery of another extensive programme of education designed to meet the needs of all practitioner types covering clinical themes of relevance to contemporary practice.”
The 100% Ophthalmology Theatre, sponsored by SpaMedica, will be kept busy throughout the event’s three days, and has a programme stacked with seminars and key topics. So, with an eagerness inside of us, what are we most looking forward to during 2025’s 100% Ophthalmology?

What we’ll be up to
As always, we’ll be delivering our daily eNewsletters from the event, giving avid readers the ‘scoop’ on what’s happening both on and off the ophthalmic stage. We’ll be mingling with the optometry side, trying on sunglasses, and digging into many of the insightful topics mentioned above. Whether you’re a friend of the magazine or a stranger, come and find us at Stand E48D and if you’re lucky you might leave without your picture being taken. To receive daily coverage of the event, register to our newsletter here.
CPD
This year’s 100% comes with a keen focus on the future and exercises its long-term relationship with educational partner, the Association of Optometrists (AOP), and as a result delegates will be able to rack up over 100 hours of CPD points from its sessions.
