Théa pharmaceuticals have a strong philosophy of ensuring as many people as possible maintain healthy vision and became a charitable partner of Vision Care for Homeless People three years ago. Since then, the team has raised nearly £5,000 supporting the capacity for many more eye examinations across the UK.

Mairead Heffernan, Théa’s Head of Training UK & Ireland, led from the front in August, with a sponsored freestyle swim on a stretch of the Thames, raising £1,500 for the charity: "A group of us set out from one of the prettiest stretches, from Henley to Marlow and in two hours, covered 5.5km. It was quite a challenge but very enjoyable on such a significant river.  The support was incredible and has brought VCHP to the attention of another group of people,” she said.
